The third theory is Hubble's law. This theory was created by Edwin Hubble. This theory supports the big bang theory. This theory explores the milky way galaxy. This theory involved measuring the amount of spectral lines relative to those produced by reference arc lamps. This was able to calculate the velocities in the galaxy's. In doing this he discovered that a few galaxies nearby were heading towards the milky way whilst the other galaxies were moving away. Edwin Hubble was born on November 20th 1889 and died on September 28th 1953.
